Elopement Wedding Reception in West Alabama

A small town. Heirloom wedding rings. A musty historic building transformed to a beautiful reception hall. These are just a few of the things that made magic happen for Evelyn + Ben’s elopement wedding reception in West Alabama! Perfect golden hour light for bride + groom portraits. Twinkling lights. A lace dress. Rockstar cowboy boots. Friends and family galore. Just to name a few more. I could probably go on and on for awhile about how much I loved this day. Hearing their story about meeting at 16, and again at 25, only to become inseparable even through a long distance relationship brought me to tears. Then, hearing Ben’s mom say how God’s timing is always perfect, and watching Evelyn’s parents beam with pride. Just listening to their beloved Grandpa’s jokes, and all the sweet hugs all over the room was so beautiful. It was definitely a night to remember!

Saturdays in the South

And of course, it wouldn’t be an Alabama Saturday night in the fall without football on the TV out back. Auburn football, to be exact. War Eagle, y’all! Mingling throughout the guests felt like being at home with my own friends and family. Everyone was so warm and inviting, quick to make jokes and offer a helping hand. I also can’t forget the stunning florals from Lindsey’s in Demopolis and delicious dinner from Simply Delicious.

Final Farewell

Evelyn + Ben, it’s easy to see why you’re adored and celebrated by so many people. You guys stepped out of the car into the cold and warmed my heart when we became instant friends! I had so much fun exploring downtown Demopolis in the cold with you for your elopement wedding reception in West Alabama .
