The sun peeked through the green trees in Hoover, AL. We weren’t expecting it to show off for us for Kelsey + Josiah’s engagement session with Leigh Ann Goodin Photography. The weather had been cloudy, and rain threatened us all week. It even brought in a cold front in the middle of what had otherwise been a warm and enjoyable week. But that cold was not going to stop us from getting out and celebrating such a special time in Kelsey + Josiah’s life. Rain had already pushed us back once, and we were ready to celebrate their love!
We started off at the Hoover Folklore Center, one of the spots where my husband Josh and I actually took our engagement photos over seven years ago. Then we headed right up to another, Lover’s Leap at the top of Bluff Park for a stroll down on the limestone boulders. And you can’t beat the view from Tip Top Grill! We finished up our fun evening together at Star Lake to hang out with all the ducks and geese during the perfect spring golden hour.
Kelsey + Josiah, you guys are a joy! Being in your presence brings laughter and happiness. Your love is one that is going to move mountains. You guys are naturals in front of the camera, and just plain fun to be around. I can’t wait to spend your big day walking alongside you guys and capturing your memories at The Barn at Bennett Flatts!
