This school year didn’t end like anyone had planned it. All our favorite Mountain Chapel Preschool spring traditions didn’t get to happen. No music program, no art show, no class picture, no May Day Play Day. I cried and grieved when Dixon’s last year of preschool abruptly came to an unexpected and shortened end. Like all moms, things this spring did not go as planned.
Despite the stress and challenges of being “stuck” at home, I’ve tried to cherish the extra time with Dixon. After this summer, he goes off to kindergarten and then I know I’ll blink and he’ll be moving out of the house, and prayerfully off to do whatever God has called him to do.
Dixon, I love your heart so much. You’ve grown leaps and bounds over the last year. You’re always thinking about others, from picking me flowers to making baby brother laugh. Your favorite color is green, you love the ocean, fishing with Dad, and “scary” movies like Goosebumps. I can’t believe my boy is SO BIG! I love you!
Love + Blessings,
