The first time I met Sam, his relationship with Dana was fairly new. I immediately noticed how much he made her laugh. This was the case at their engagement session and again at their intimate spring wedding. This has easily become my favorite thing about how well Sam loves Dana.
Dana + Sam’s Douglas Manor wedding celebration was nothing short of amazing. There was so much joy. It was the most fun wedding party, the best fall weather, and the sweetest families. My heart was bursting at the seams from all the joy and love.
Dana + Sam, the words I wrote at your intimate spring wedding still ring true almost six months later. I love how much you choose joy, regardless of what life throws at you. Not to steal the words of Dr. McRaney from This is Us, but you guys took the sourest of lemons when Covid stole your original wedding plans. Your big celebration was the sweetest of lemonades and I’m sure I’m not alone in thinking it was worth waiting for.
It was a blast to celebrate you guys twice! On this beautiful October day, you ignored the things that didn’t matter, and you soaked in all the joy. You laughed with your favorite people and danced with your most fun friends. You were surrounded by people who love you and were so thrilled to finally your marriage. It was the best day.
Here are some of my favorite images from your big day:
