When I came into the bedroom to get ready for Thanksgiving lunch at my parents’ house, Josh had cute clothes laid out for the boys and was ironing his shirt. “I know you’ll want to take good a family picture.” I cringed at the thought of fighting with them to get them to take pictures when all I wanted to do was eat.
But as my husband often does, even when I don’t know I need it, he encouraged me. This time it was encouragement to take my real camera and document our normal. To document our memories, even when I just wanted to snap them on my phone. Don’t get me wrong, the phone is great for almost everything! But family legacy, the stuff memories are made of. That’s worth documenting. This was worth documenting.
So family, sorry I didn’t warn you I would be taking pics of you and your kiddos. Mom + Dad, next time you guys are getting in on the fun. Thank you guys for letting me capture our sweetest memories! Here are some of my favorites from Thanksgiving Day 2020:

Love + Blessings,
