Josh stood at the altar, awaiting his bride. The bride’s father stood in front of the sanctuary in front of hundreds of (socially distanced) friends and family members. Mark read Josh a letter about the significance of the worship service that was about to take place. About what a wedding truly represents. And Josh’s upcoming marriage to his only daughter. He talked about how this was going to be a representation of when Jesus comes back for us. Then he walked around the large sanctuary to behind closed doors, took his little girl’s hand, made her laugh a lot, and walked her down the aisle. He presented her to her groom. Josh lifted her veil and took her up the stairs to the altar. There they thanked God for all he has done and will do, vowed forever, and shared their first kiss as man and wife.
From the first time I spoke with Beth Anne, it was clearly evident she and Josh wanted Jesus to be the focal point of their wedding. They wanted their marriage to point people upward from the beginning. And oh, they sure did. From the time Josh first saw Beth Anne all the way through the end of their day together, their smiles were contagious. Their love for each other and The Lord was on display for all to see. It couldn’t have brought me more joy. The happy couple also had a heavy emphasis on family when it came to their wedding party, which was an extra special touch.
Beth Anne + Josh, I know God has big plans for every couple. But you guys are something super special. You are so beautiful inside and out. Your relationship is an amazing example of so much God has for us. Marriage can be such a gift when our eyes are focused on Him and serving one another. I know you guys already have that much figured out. I am so thankful God brought you and your families into my life! Here are some of my favorites from your wedding day:

From the Mother of the Bride:
“Oh my goodness, Leigh Ann!! What a precious gift from the Lord you and your team were to all of us yesterday – and really, since the moment you first responded to Beth Anne’s inquiry!! Words can never express my gratitude to you for all you did for us yesterday. If not a single image turned out, you still would be the most incredible photographer and friend, ever! I never realized how important a photographer was to all aspects of your wedding day. You got us. Your gracious, encouraging, loving, and gentle spirit just blessed (us) beyond measure…(you) kept me calm, pointed me to Jesus, (you) joined with us in worshipping and loving Him, and made our wedding day run smooth, seamless, and beyond the best day ever. You treated everyone with love and handled everyone with such grace and joy. I loved seeing you work and felt such complete confidence and peace having you leading us through the day. Thank you, thank you, thank you…Thank you for blessing us…I am beyond honored that you would come and join with us in worshipping the Lord. Your presence and prayers seriously were a precious gift of the Lord to us.
The Lord answered our prayers and far exceeded anything I could have ever imagined. Jesus was the focal point of our worship as our Bridegroom, choosing us, loving us, forgiving us, pursuing us, redeeming us, calling us to Himself, clothing us in His righteousness, paying the bride price in full with His precious blood, bringing us to the Father, and glorifying Himself by our great salvation. The veil has been lifted, we are fully known, fully loved, fully redeemed, fully His!! …”
