When she was just fourteen years old, Elizabeth Goldman was shocked to find out she was born without a uterus. All of the sudden, all hopes and dreams of carrying her babies flew out the window. So she started praying. She lived through years of longing. Of having to tell her future husband that she couldn’t carry his baby. Through the adoption and raising of her nephew Jayden and Timmy’s son TJ. And so much more. This girl is strong, y’all.

Fast forward to 2023: The Goldman’s have uprooted their lives in Mobile, relocated to Birmingham, and are pregnant with their miracle baby, Zari Grace. Thanks to the groundbreaking uterus transplant program at UAB and a beautiful soul gone too soon, Liz is carrying her own baby! Inside her body with a donor uterus. After two rounds of IVF, one loss of their first baby, hundreds and thousands of pills, injections, and doctor’s visits, the Goldman’s are living out a dream come true. They are living out answered prayers. And it’s an honor to come alongside them and document their journey.

Zari Grace, you are so loved. You are so wanted. You are a miracle a million times over. Your mom and dad are already the best parents to you. There are thousands of “Baby Goldman fans” cheering for you and anxiously awaiting your arrival. Sweet girl, the best is yet to come.
